Steam Cleaning-This is most times the most effective form of deep cleaning carpets. It is also the healthiest way to clean carpets.

Dry Cleaning-This is typically conducted by a professional who uses a machine to cause a dry compound to be absorbed by the carpet. A vacuum is then used to suck up the dry compound and any dust and stains.
